Where can I get a good Long Term Care insurance policy?

I am 54 yrs. old, looking into purchasing Long Term Care insurance. I would like the best coverage for the lowest possible premiums, but a policy that would cover any and all possible care needs, including Assisted Living, as I may need it as I age. Thank you.

Long Term Care insurance today covers help a person may need at home, in adult day services, in assisted living facilities and in nursing homes.

You are making a wise decision to buy at your age since rates go up quickly for each year you wait.

    Suggest looking at http://www.aaltci.org

On the right side is a place to put in your zipcode and locate a professional.

    Good luck

You can look into Mutual of Omaha, and United American Insurance Company. Either one will be happy to talk with you.

Take a look at New York Life Insurance Company. They are mutual company which means they will pay you a dividend – since you are a policy holder! Also they will pay for a member of your family to care for you. They also have a return of premium option – which means if you die and don’t use the benefit then the company will return all of your paid premiums to your beneficiary. Hope this helps. Go to newyorklife.com and contact an agent in your area!
