My husband and I are about to close on a home and would like to know some about homeowners insurance. We are planning on getting it through our car insurance company, but just want to know if anyone has any advice as to how we can estimate the value of our stuff, any thing important we need to know?

Do the conservative Republicans know what it’s like to be poor and struggle? Do they have any idea what it’s like to be poor and not have much?

All I hear from them is gloom and doom about Obama and the health care bill.

I am purchasing a new car and for the first time car insurance. I’ve been shopping around online and Progressive Direct has the best rates for me. I also looked at getting Progressive through an insurance group in my area, which would cost $30 more per month for the same amount of coverage. Would it be worth the extra $30 per month to get the insurance through an insurance agency in my area?

Have you had any good or bad experiences with Progressive Direct car insurance?

A friend has very bad vision, has to get specially made lenses and contact lenses, which for the glasses would cost about $600 even with insurance. She can’t get normal coverage due to her bad vision. Are there any insurance companies that would cover more? Please let me know.
