I am 16 years old and from st.cloud minnesota. I don’t have a car yet but I want to get one from around $3000-$4000. I have to go with State Farm because my parents have it. I am a safe driver and I get good grades. Is there a way to get cheap auto insurance through state farm through any special deals? Thanks
About the only deal you can get is for completing driver’s ed and driver’s training and maintaining a “B” average or better. Your next discount comes when you turn 25 years old or get married.

yes. if your GPA is 3.5 or better, that is a good discount. also if you took a good driver’s ed course, you may be allowed a discount, and if you have had your license for a year, then experience also helps. And if your record is clear(and it is possible to have points before you get a license) that’s good too. If you are an occasional driver rather than primary, it’s less. As you will be rated on the most expensive car, it may even be a good idea to have more than one policy, if your mom, say, drives a Bentley. OK? ( : then you can be excluded on that one.
Its going to be tough getting insurance for yourself. You’ll most likely end up paying a whole bunch since your still very young. Best bet is to have your car insured by your parents and have them put your name under them. Much cheaper. But drive carefully, if you get into a wreck then their insurance premiums take a hike.
