I’m looking for auto insurance, is the General a good auto insurance? Are they reliable?

I have 21st century and my premium is high, so I looked into the General and they’re only charging me half of what I’m used to, but in case of an accident, do they really back you up. I’ve heard of some crooked companies, would this be one among them.
The general is for people with bad credit. Dont ask me why, but your credit score affects your rates. Also if you are under 25 and single your rates will get jacked. I would check out a few more places to be safe. I pay 70 a month for my wife and I full coverage two vehicles.
