And if you believe that movie, then maybe there really is no hope for this country.
Of those countries listed, only France’s system works.

Is that why the Premier of Newfoundland (Canada) goes to Miami for his surgery? Great, I’m glad for you to have free surgery. How much have you paid to get this? That is how much over time?
How much have you paid for the next guy?
Reform needs to happen, but not this.
Fix the flat tire, no need to rebuild the engine.

Democratic Socialist Progressives have been trying for about 100 years to pass socialized medicine what Lenin called the keystone to the arch of the socialist state.

The Democratic Socialist leadership absolutely dont care if they have to become political martyrs (or steal elections to remain in power), as long as they pass this.

The next 6 to 7 days will be an all out ideological war for the survival of our Constitutional Republic.

    Death panel?

Too old to marry, too young to bury. This statement was made by a dying grandmother. She applied for govt. healthcare in Feb 09. Her case got delayed until Dec 09. She received hospice care in Dec 09 and suddenly her govt. healthcare got approved. You see, its cheaper to pay for hospice care than to pay for treating cancer. Furthermore once you received hospice care, all other treatment halted. There you have it. The govt. saved money by letting a sick woman die.

Still fighting for single payer, and don’t know whether to support the current bill. If it contained a true public option open to anyone, then maybe. It also has provisions for clinics around the country and that has been missing for 30 years. We also need to require that hospitals and any insurance company operating in the US needs to become a non-profit corporation.

  11. chaukeng says:

Thank God I live in Canada, going for my surgery next month which will cost me $0, and guess what the average cost to get it done in the US right now is $10 000. We still have insuarance companies like Blue Cross but they are expensive and deny folks with pre-existing conditions. Wake up people!! The system you currently have is wasteful and expensive for everybody!! Reform now!! The people who dont want reform are the selfish rich basterds who are extremely evil like their dad the DEVIL!!

I have written letters, and sent emails to repubs, and Democrats, to please support this bill!!!! The Democrats have been most gracious. Most giving their support for the bill. The repubs on the other hand, have been either smug, non responsive, or spewing their own biased reasons for not supporting the bill. It is like the repubs are not even listening to the wants and needs of the American people!! In 2012, we need to clean government free of all do nuthin repubs!!!!

p4h10oso: Are you that naive, if you look around the world everyone has a single payer health care system and they are not complaining! England, France, Germany, italy, Canada, Cuba, etc. So if you Native Americans have a badly run, on purpose, single payer system, yes I can understand your complaint, but when it is properly run it is the best system in the world, especially if you want universal healthcare! America is a bad place! Watch Michael Moores movie SICKO!

  20. p4h10oso says:

To see the failure of govt run healthcare look at us Native americans. We’ve had single payer healthcare for 75 years and the result: We are the least healthy americans. What more proof do u need?

  21. 1937Charlie says:

God bless America. I’m going to France! Where they have health care for all. They are #1 in the world. We are 37th.

  22. Artfryne says:

sorry to break it to those hopeful folks, but this has nothing to do with bettering the health of americans.
Only the insertion of more control by gov’t and less choice by the individual. OBAMANOMICS = DEATH and DECLINE

  23. pgunn01 says:

That’s nonsense. In fact, although this health care bill is disappointing (it doesn’t go nearly far enough), better health care helps everyone, Amish, factory workers, storekeeps, etc. Were it to bring us to Canadian or European standards, it would help us far more.

Since when did government health care threaten to force people to have blood transfusions? It never did – you’re making stuff up.

  24. pgunn01 says:

Obama has not said it no longer is a Christian nation, he’s saying that it never was. It is a nation that has historically had a number of Christians, but they never have been all the people nor was the nation founded on Christian principles. That’s just simple history.

  25. monkeyjoe9 says:

I think that there is one guy behing the scenes who are evil as fuck, and don’t care about anyone. They put on these sharades to keep people distracted. Haven’t you ever wonder why there is always its so black and white, it the illusion of choice. watch the video ” the president who told the truth” It ring so much truth about whats going on in the world its scary. Everyone is in the matialistic spell, this is not are true nature, that is why so many are unfullfilled
